Terms of Service
These terms of service govern the use of Speed Express vehicle-delivery services. This is a courtesy translation: in the event of any discrepancy, the French version prevails.

1. Definitions
In these terms of service, the following terms shall have the meaning given to them below:
- 'Speed Express', 'we', 'our' or 'us' refers to Speed Express, registered with the trade register under SIRET number [to be completed], whose registered office is at 470 promenade des Anglais, 06200 Nice, France.
- 'Services' refers to the vehicle-delivery services provided by Speed Express, as described on the site.
- 'Client', 'you' or 'your' refers to any natural or legal person using Speed Express Services.
- 'Site' refers to the website available at www.speedexpress.fr, together with all associated subdomains.
2. Description of Services
Speed Express provides delivery services for various types of vehicles, including cars, motorbikes and boats. Our services include pick-up, transport and delivery of vehicles to the address indicated by the Client, in accordance with the conditions agreed at the time of booking.
2.1 Car Delivery
Our car-delivery service covers all types of vehicles, from city cars to luxury cars. We guarantee secure transport with qualified staff, real-time tracking and comprehensive insurance.
2.2 Motorbike Delivery
Our motorbike-delivery service ensures the secure transport of two-wheelers — collector, sports or touring bikes — with specialist equipment and optimum protection.
2.3 Boat Delivery
Our sea and inland-waterway delivery service is carried out by professionals for all types of craft, including sailing boats and yachts, with full preparation and administrative documentation.
3. Booking and Payment
Our services can be booked by phone, email or via our online contact form. A personalised quote will be drawn up according to your specific needs.
Payment is made as follows:
- A deposit of 30% of the total amount is required when the booking is confirmed.
- The balance must be paid no later than the day the vehicle is delivered.
Accepted payment methods are: bank card, bank transfer and cheque.
4. Obligations of the Parties
Each party undertakes to fulfil its obligations within the scope of the delivery service.
4.1 Obligations of Speed Express
Speed Express undertakes to:
- Transport the vehicle under optimum safety conditions.
- Meet the agreed delivery deadlines, except in cases of force majeure.
- Provide a professional service through qualified, experienced staff.
- Hold insurance covering damage that may occur during transport.
- Carry out a detailed condition report of the vehicle at pick-up and at delivery.
4.2 Obligations of the Client
The Client undertakes to:
- Provide all the information required for the proper performance of the service.
- Ensure that the vehicle is in working order and holds the required regulatory documents.
- Be present, or arrange to be represented, at the pick-up and delivery of the vehicle.
- Pay the price of the service in accordance with the agreed conditions.
- Report any damage observed at delivery immediately.
5. Liability
Speed Express is responsible for the proper performance of the delivery services and undertakes to compensate the Client in the event of damage occurring during transport, within the limits of the insurance held. However, Speed Express cannot be held liable for damage resulting from force majeure, or from an act attributable to the Client or a third party.
6. Insurance
All our delivery services are covered by comprehensive insurance. A copy of the insurance certificate can be provided on request. In the event of a claim, the Client must inform us within 24 hours of delivery.
7. Cancellation and Changes
The cancellation conditions are as follows:
- Cancellation more than 48 hours before the pick-up date: full refund of the deposit.
- Cancellation between 24 and 48 hours before the pick-up date: 50% of the deposit retained.
- Cancellation less than 24 hours before the pick-up date: deposit non-refundable.
Any change to the booking must be notified at least 24 hours in advance and is subject to availability.
8. Disputes and Governing Law
These terms are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, the parties will endeavour to find an amicable solution. Failing that, the dispute will be brought before the competent courts of Nice.
